Street Fighter is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary this year, and Capcom has some surprises up its sleeves that are set to be revealed later in 2017.
It has been thirty years since the first game in the much-loved Street Fighter franchise was released and, to celebrate the substantial anniversary, Capcom is teasing a special new project that is sure to make long time fans of the games very happy.
In a recent interview with IGN, Street Fighter series producer Yoshinori Ono has teased that there will be some ‘surprises’ coming to the series later in the year. The 30th anniversary of the franchise will be celebrated in style, as a special reveal is going to be made at either San Diego Comic-Con or E3 in 2017. Ono didn’t announce any more details about the reveal, but stated that there would be “one or two surprises” for Street Fighter fans to look forward to.
